Columbo FAQ


Columbo is a fully featured Software-as-a-Service solution for digitizing inspections and audits. Its main features include a custom form builder, offline inspecting and automated reporting.

Columbo works on mobile devices through the dedicated app or our webservice. Any information you need for your inspections such as forms, maps and photos are downloaded to the device so you can inspect anywhere, anytime without being dependent on an internet connection.


After an inspection is conducted and the device finds a stable connection, the new inspection will be synchronized with the database and Columbo can automatically generate and send a report to your client.

We offer a range of standardized inspections that we can implement out-of-the-box. And with our powerful Form Builder feature, you can build your own inspection forms. No matter how simple or complex; Columbo handles any inspection or audit you'll need to perform.

Currently, we do not offer a free trial of Columbo. However, we have an extensive, personalised demo process so you can be sure that Columbo is the right fit for you before you purchase.



We build custom inspection lists and reports in accordance with your desired specifications. Considering there are many different standards and types of inspections, we always work based off of quotes. Our prices comprise a one-off starting fee for building the reports and inspections, as well as a monthly fee that includes maintenance, hosting, support and users. Yes, you can! You can request additional inspection modules to be added to your Columbo implementation. Costs are variable, based on the inspection module to be added, and range from €20 to €50 per month per module.

Yes. We use a graduated pricing method for additional users. Costs will depend on the amount of additional users.

(Note: you can have an unlimited amount of clients login to your inspection results through our webportal. They are not considered users.)

As Columbo is a Software-as-a-Service solution, any new features we develop could potentially affect all our customers. This means we're unable to program new functionalities for individual Columbo implementations.
